REGULAR EVENTS


Every Thursday
Eucharist service at St Stephen Walbrook. 12.45-1.45 pm. For all those who want to attend a lunchtime service. The St Stephen choir sings special settings of the Mass. Sandwiches and hot drinks are provided free of charge.

Every Friday
Organ recitals with a great variety of music and organists at St Stephen Walbrook 12.30-1.30 pm,

The Power of an Icon and the Sorrow of a Mother.

I had a strange morning this morning. A 3 year old boy noticed my wooden cross. I asked him if he could see any more in the church, we eventually reached an icon on a wall with Jesus still on it. So, as he stood on the chair looking up at it and we discussed who it was because He wasn't on my cross. Help Needed....

Oh dear, what a pickle I am in.  Through no fault of my own, I am in a horrible situation.  I am not in despair - as I am praying so much - but am desperately unhappy.  

Due to constant harassment by my manager at the charity I work for - to enter into a relationship with him - I have had to withdraw from my role as a volunteer.  As I was truly helping people who are homeless and vulnerable, I feel sick and sorry.  Please pray for the situation and for those who need that…
