Eucharist service at St Stephen Walbrook. 12.45-1.45 pm. For all those who want to attend a lunchtime service. The St Stephen choir sings special settings of the Mass. Sandwiches and hot drinks are provided free of charge.

Advent is a very meaningful time for me as I prepare my heart for Christ's coming. I have an Advent tree (Lutheran version of a Jacob tree) that my family use every year. It is a Advent devotional that includes a daily devotional reading and a Christmas ornament to hang on the Advent tree. It goes from the 1st Sunday in Advent until Epiphany -the coming of the Wise Men in Jan. What a beautiful story to share. I work in the health care profession so this is a good reminder to me to be patient with the patients and families I deal with as I don't often know the confounding circumstances they face. I have also been on the end of how rude health care workers can be in dealing with the health of a family member as well. We all need to be Christ's light to the world and make sure we are not causing His light to be dim by our behavior. Thank you for sharing that…Continue
