I felt I should let everyone know I don't allow videos that have pop-up adverts on them onto the forum because we can't control the content of the ads. So please check any videos you would like to post, that they are ad-free. Vimeo is better than youtube in this respect.
Also, I won't approve photos of children because any photos online can be stolen, photoshopped and used by paedophiles.

On a personal note.
In December, 2013, I had triple bypass open-heart surgery at Hammersmith Hospital.
Between now and then I have had many setbacks, some of them life threatening.
Last Monday, I had the possibility of being placed on the heart transplant register removed. I was given the relative status of all clear. My next cardiology appointment is a year away.

Thoughts and prayers with the Right Reverend Father in God, Richard, Bishop of London, who has announced his retirement.
The Bishop will continue as normal for the next few months, finishing his regular duties at Christmas. He will remain in office, but without formal duties, until Shrove Tuesday. There will be a special farewell liturgy at the Cathedral at Candlemas, 2 February

A day to thank God. Dr Al Guneid has been released and is back home with his family.
He was taken hostage by the Houthi militia in Yemen last August, purely because he was regularly tweeting the truth on Twitter about the war situation in his home town of Taiz.
His family and others, including myself, have waged a campaign to get him free since the day of his abduction, under the hashtag #FreeGuneid

It's mind boggling that a flat bought as an x-council property in London for £12,000 can now be 'worth' over £500, 000 on the open market. Or that a council house bought for a £1 could be worth one and a half million pounds today.
